Picture this I got my trustee garden cart with the big wheels
and strong handle and stared gathering buckets for water, swatting
skeeters and jumping around. Needless to say it ended in frustration...
UGH!! I couldn't find my green watering can!
I come in the house disgusted wondering how on earth
was I going to water my dahlias, hence this should
have been thought out "BEFORE"
I planted them!
Anyway, the next thing I know my hunny put his boots back on and
asked for a ride over to the main farm house...
I said fine, since I wasn't doing anything anyway...;-)
Later after my arrival back home...I heard this noise out
in the driveway....
There, low and behold was the prettiest sight I ever saw...Yep
"ole little blue" pulled up with the most handsome man I ever
laid eyes on...who was wearing a big smile since in the back
of old little blue was a large water holding tank!
My hero saved me once again...
Gotta love him!

My Dahlia LOVE Story...How it all began!
The story being near and dear to my heart, began 14,355 days ago.
When I was born my dad yelled at my mom as she climbed in the back seat,
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING"?? She screams back, "I FEEL THE BABIES HEAD...PULLOVER!!"
Now Fastforward to March 1996...
"That Guy": Would you like to come over?...
ME: Maybe, Where do you live?...
After "That Guy" replies...
ME: You are kidding right??
"That Guy": No
ME: I was born in your driveway!
By now you are thinking this is a interesting story but what the
heck does it have to do with Dahlias???
Well "That Guy" who's name is Glen is now my husband of 10 years.
And in true lovers fashion he used to bring me FRESH cut Dahlia's
all thru our short Alaska summers. I say "use" to because the individual
that grew them no longer does.
SOOO I decided that "I" would start growing them.
And Since I live on a commercial vegetable farm, we have 100's
of acres to chose from.;-)
